Columbia 300 Atlas Ball Review
The new Atlas is the new Columbia 300 high performance ball in the Columbia 300 line. This ball will have a stronger and quicker core with the Formula 1 base Coverstock from the Columbia 300 Speed.
Columbia 300 Atlas Bowling Ball
Atlas is the newest addition to the Columbia 300 line of big hooking performance balls. The Atlas starts with a new core design with a higher RG, Differential, and Intermediate Differential than the Speed core.
The Atlas core is designed to help the Formula 1 solid cover perform on heavier oil conditions, produce an exceptional backend and drive through the pins. The new Atlas is finished at 500, 2000 Siaair to provide traction on medium to heavy oil.
The Columbia 300 Atlas will be replacing the Columbia 300 Speed in the Pro Performance Category. The new Atlas will be including the new Atlas core that creates higher RG, Differential and Intermediate differential.
Columbia 300 did this by adding a dual density piece to the bottom of the core and enlarging the band around the middle of the core. The finish is a little smoother on the Atlas(500,2000) compared to the Speed (500,1500) creating a cleaner motion through the front part of the lane. The coverstock base is the same in the two balls except, the Atlas has the Formula 1 Solid base and the Speed had the Formula 1 Hybrid base.
